Finances and Donations
The teachers are paid primarily from funds derived from tuition and fundraisers held during the school year. Unfortunately, we are not able to pay our staff what they could make in salary elsewhere but the staff view teaching at Agape as a ministry for the Lord. Further, with the addition of the new buildings, the need for further expansion, the purchasing of additional equipment for this vital ministry and other financial needs, the school faces a deficit in its finances.
Friends of Agape
With all of the above in mind, the board and leadership of the Marsh Harbour Gospel Chapel have formed Friends of Agape with the intent of inviting individual Christians, businesses and organizations to become prayer and financial partners with us in this ministry for the Lord.
We now extend this invitation to you by asking you to consider becoming a prayer partner with us and also, as the Lord permits, to provide financial assistance for the purpose of sustaining and extending the ministry of Agape Christian School. Any gift, regardless of how small or large, will be an investment for the Lord in a child’s spiritual and academic future. All gifts will be kept confidential. We will hopefully have a secure site in the future in which you can provide donations directly using your credit card. For the time being, however, please refer to the paragraph below for methods of making donations.
